The Battle Cats is an excellent action cat game that gives you the chance to wage war with your army of cats against enemies in order to come out on top. It is an addictive game that is sure to keep you hooked for hours on end. I had an enormous amount of fun playing this amazing cat game. The Battle Cats took a little time to start on my Android handset as it was a little on the heavier side. However, it isn't that intrusive and it didn't require much permission upon download which is always a good thing. The animations and graphics of the game left a lot to be desired but it was still fun to play.

The start window has two options available, 'Play' and 'Settings'. Clicking the Play option leads you directly to the Cat Base. This is your base of operations. It is the place from where you are going to launch attacks on different enemy hideouts with your cat army. Moreover, it is this Cat Base where you are going to train your cat army and enhance their level. The Cat Base is also the place from where you will get to recruit new cat characters as well, including the special cats.

I found the Cat Base to be an exciting feature of this cat game. It provided me a centralized location from where I was able to control the various aspects of The Battle Cats. There is a helpful guide present in the Cat Base too that continuously gives you tips regarding the game. I, personally, liked the advice it kept giving me from time to time as it helped me along the way.

To start a game in The Battle Cats, you will have to click on the 'Start' button located at the top left hand side of the Cat Base. It will lead you to the Stage Select window wherein you will get to attack an enemy base. Just click on the 'Attack' button and you will get to play this exciting cat game.

I had a blast playing The Battle Cats and was able to gain victory in the Korea stage of the game. You get XP for winning each stage. The amount of XP you get is dependent on the time in which you are able to defeat the enemy. So, the quicker you win, the more XP you will get. This XP is going to be utilized later on for upgrading your cat army. Moreover, there are various treasures and special items that can be gained from winning these battles too. These items can be used for unlocking cool stuff and new cat characters.

The in-app purchases for The Battle Cats can be found in the store section whose link is present in the Cat Base. You can get yourself a nice Start-Up pack to get yourself a head start in playing this exciting cat game.
